NRSBU Te Tau Ihu Iwi Hui - November 2026

The Nelson Regional Sewerage Business Unit (NRSBU) warmly invites Te Tau Ihu iwi to join us for our annual hui and lunch on Monday 16 November.

The hui is an important opportunity for us to come together, share updates and, most importantly, listen. NRSBU recognises the role of tangata whenua as kaitiaki and values the opportunity to hear iwi perspectives, priorities and concerns relating to the treatment and discharge of wastewater and our wider activities.

During the hui, we will provide an update on the Nelson Regional Sewerage Scheme, including work undertaken over the past year, projects currently underway, and our plans and priorities for the year ahead and longer term.

There will also be an opportunity to visit the site, see some of this work first-hand, ask questions and discuss areas where ongoing engagement between iwi and NRSBU would be valuable.
